Our Echinacea purpurea tincture — also known as Purple Coneflower or Hedgehog Coneflower — is a mother tincture made from the blooming tops of organically grown plants. The harvest includes the flower, upper stem, and top leaves, gathered at full bloom to capture the plant’s peak vitality.
This tincture is extracted with high-purity food-grade alcohol, resulting in a potent, full-strength extract (~60% vol) that preserves the plant’s complex natural composition.
Echinacea purpurea originates from North America, where it has been used traditionally by Indigenous peoples for centuries before becoming established in European herbalism. In these traditions, it was valued as a tonic and protective herb, admired for its resilience and deep-rooted strength.
